Abbey

Abbey National now Santander in Hammersmith is one of the worst branches ever..... they only ever have 2 or 3 peopl serving on the desk and they always take so long - doesn't matter what time of day morning, noon or eve it takes just as long and they think its acceptable just to say 'sorry to keep you waiting' - also they are not a proper bank - the other day I went in with a cheque in my maiden name together with my marriage certificate and they said they could not accept my cheqe going into my bank - not helpful at all - took it two banks down to Nat West and they did it without even querying?? - went in to Abbey the other day to get a print out of my latest statement? low and behold at the main customer service desk the lady did not have a printer and suggested that I should join the que?? last straw is that since Santander took over they have sent me a credit card bill for loads of money that was cancelled when it was Abbey 2 years ago??? - Santander's new adverising is that 'wait till January 2010 you will see some changes' well Santander - lets hope they are bloody good ones - cause it needs to be................ disgruntled customer choosing to leave Abbey/Santander..........
