The worst service I have ever received...I will never visit this branch anymore...

If any problem arises it is impossible to telephone the branch directly; you are directed to a distant city such as Sunderland or to India and they cannot answer the query or phone the branch, and you are advised to visit the branch even if you are phoning from abroad.

Very bad experience every time I go there. Members of staff prefer to talk to each other for ages than care about customers. But finally when you being served it last forever. I want to close my account there and it even worse than opening. I don't recommend this to anyone. Better experience on Lime Street

I had a similar experience as the other review. I made an appointment and went to the Whitechapel brance to open an business account. I was told by a bank staff to wait and someone will come and open my account. I waited 15 minutes and then asked another staff when someone will come and see me. I waited another 10 min and then I kicked up a fuss and someone came to open my account. very bad service in deed!

My experience at the Whitechapel branch.
I had an appointment to create a new account. When I arrived I was told to wait in the waiting area and was then ignored for 15 minutes. Somebody then came over to ask what I was there for. They said they would go and check with the person concerned but forgot. After I reminded them, they apologised and went off again; when they came back they said it would be just a few more minutes. After another 25 minutes I gave up and left.
