The service is really poor and the staff do not know much about their own processes. Something that should take 5 mins will probably take you an hour excluding queue time so be prepared. Most of the staff are not as helpful as they could be if they showed some interest but neither do the Managerís there unless you have a big bank balance it appeared. I think that the paying services like requesting 3 months bank statements should be a bit speedier and reliable as well as have the ability to track the progress of this. Also the bank manager should be authorized to furnish a letter that I am a Barclays Bank Account holder and provide me with my own details in writing if I request.
All in all Barclays is an extremely disappointing bank in terms of service. Hopefully somebody that can make a difference will read this.
