In the past I've never experienced any problems with booking cabs without a meet and greet - because all the drivers I've encountered were patient and provided clear directions. There was some confusion when I received directions from this driver, but after politely if he could clarify where I needed to go, he then began to shout and throw verbal abuse towards me. I asked him calmly if he could stop, as it was disrespectful and unprofessional of him to berate me as his customer. He would not calm down and did not apologize, so I let him know that I would like to cancel the reservation as I did not feel safe having someone drive me- who could not control their temper.
I called the company after this ordeal and explained why I wanted to cancel the reservation. In no situation should a customer/individual in any situation deserve to face verbal abuse. It was outrageous because the company did not listen, and repeatedly said the driver had - never shouted.
