If I could give a minus star I would.
I booked a taxi 2 days ago for tonight - 12 Oct - for my 87 year old mother, and my brother. I did so in person, and sent a confirmation e-mail with all the details. No-one showed or phoned, and they didn't answer the phone, leaving the 2 in the dark, cold and rain after 23h30!
Totally unprofessional and unreliable!
They have 3 numbers on their business card, and none were answered. The mobile number rang a couple of times, and was then switched off.

Xmas day with half an hour before the cab arrived they put up the price of the trip to £40 knowing I would have few others options, claimed it was double price for Xmas day but they would have been aware of the date when I booked the cab and I paid £23 the previous year at 'double price for xmas day'

They have normally been on time and efficient, but when I really needed to get to an important appointment, they left me out to dry. After 3 phone calls, they kept telling me "the cab will be there in ten minutes." After half an hour I called another cab firm. I called HLT to tell them to not bother and they didn't know what I was talking about, even though I said my name and address!
Your only good as your last job, so I can't rely on them, which is a shame, as they are only a minute away from where I live.

Dear Precious Customer, I am so disappointed and sorry to hear that HLT Cars let you down when you most needed the service. The controller at the time was relying on the driver to give him accurate time to cover the job, unfortunately sometimes at very busy times the drivers let us down by giving incorrect time. We have since updated our computer system so we are now aware of the location of all our drivers therefore making it easier to give more accurate time to our customers. We would love to have your back, as we rely on our local community to help keep our business going. Again we are very sorry for any inconvenience
