I have been using Station cars for about twenty years now. I would say I have been a very loyal customer, booking them so come across London to collect me from work events, trips to the airport and after nights out in London. When Uber and all of these competitors emerged I stuck with Station cars. However the customer service is very poor now.
About a year ago I had an early morning flight to catch and the driver turned up 45 minutes late. That would have been ample time for me to get a bus to croydon and hop on a gatwick express. When chasing I still maintained politeness but the gentlemen who I believe was in charge did not care at all and shouted at me.
Last week at 11pm at night I called for a cab, it did not turn up until 30 minutes later, when expressing my sadness (I was close to tears) the lady put the phone down on me. It is with regret, but after being so loyal I wont use them again out of principle. They are rude and don't care.
Train cancelled so went into the office and asked for a taxi for 5, 2 adults 3 children stood outsideoffice for 10mins...was quoted £18. When 6 seater arrived and we got in the office texts the driver while we are on the way and changes price to £27....when we called the office to complain the manager said we didn't say it was for 5 people...?? LIAR why did a 6 seater turn up then.??...Avoid this utter joke of a taxi company...
Disappointed doesn't even come close, often wait over an hour, no care for their customers, I will not be using them again.
Get better qualified and professional staff and drivers, not just people who are there to collect their wages and care nothing about good customer service. I've been using this service for years and have always supported it as it's local. However due to the rude and unprofessional manner of the woman who did the early shift on Monday morning (14/05/18) and the rudeness of the second before last driver that was sent to me, I will never use this company again. I have since singed up for Uber and Addison Lee and they have not failed me so far. Their customer service is on point. Makes a massive difference from the local mini cab companies.
