Asked for a taxi from russell square to knightsbridge - quote of 18 ended up being 27 pounds
When driver picked up, insisted SW7 was not in knightsbridge
When arrived at destination there were road signs 100m from hotel saying Knightsbridge SW7
Stick to black cabs except possibly rush hour time

I work for a University in central London. I tried KCRC on two ocassions. Ive read the first review and its unlikely that anything professional came out of this and have a hunch that it was probably written by the owner or a mate.
The first time I booked the driver was 20 minutes late and excused himself laughing saying it was the main controllers fault. The second time it happened again and the driver was 15 minutes late. Both times I had to call repreatedly to ask the operator to radio the car. On both occassions the drivers lied to the operator and said, we are waiting outside. The second time I asked for a luxury car and the operator promised he would send one, instead he sent me the worst old 7 seater banger money can buy. No apologoes and nothing professional about these guys. I am so embarassed having booked through them and the seoond time was my fault. Never again!

I have used this company many times from W1 to Stansted Airport and they are very efficient
