Portiacraft

Bought a Boxster 986 S from Portiacraft this summer due to the fact they have been in business so long and the car gets a year warranty. Can't fault Portiacraft. Had a couple of things done under the warranty and Harry was lovely about it. Go and have a look if you want a Porsche.

Bought 2 cars off them over 3 years and more than happy with their warranty my first car had air con rads replaced free off charge 14 months into purchase hence happy to buy my second Porsche from them (997) .

Cars are priced reasonably and well presented and prepared they know their Porsches.

I bought my Boxster S a number of years ago from Portiacraft. I feel they should improve the quality of their cars and customer service they offer. I found a massive crack in the windscreen when I collected my car which wasn't present when I viewed the car or when it was inspected. Portiacraft offered to pay the excess on my insurance policy rather than replace the windscreen. The side window seal also came out shortly after which they fixed by glueing back in place rather than replacing scratching the paint in the process. Given I had spent £32k you would expect better customer service.

I bought an early Boxster S from Portiacraft in late 2011. It was a genuine 2 owner car with perfect history but high mileage. Price was very good and they honoured the warranty when the radiator needed replacing a month after purchase. Not the friendliest people but I would buy from them again.

Bought a used 997 from here in 2012. I had the car inspected by Peter Morgan. The inspection identified minor issues and all where made good prior to completing the sale by the garage. Their prices are competitive. If you want a nice and flashy showroom with a posh coffee machine then stay away. If you want people who really know about the cars they sell and who do respond in a frank and honest (very direct) way then take a look.

had my 996 worked on twice by them and found them reasonable and very efficient. Not the place to go for a chat and a fancy cup of coffee but that's not what you go to a garage for.

Not the most friendly car dealership I've been to. However the cars are very keenly priced and from what I could tell were all pretty sorted cars. I've not bought from here but I probably would.

Also, I thought the owner Harry came across quite well on Come Dine With Me!!
