I booked my car in for major service and was given a price for the work.
I accepted this quote and took my car to the service centre on appointed day.
I was then told the quote was wrong (not in my favour).
I objected stating that they had given me this quote knowing all the facts about my car, which hadn't changed, and they should honour this cost.
After some time they relented and agreed to original quote.
In trying to establish progress on work I left countless messages to call me which, with one exception, were not returned.
In terms of work it's highly professional.

As a female driver who avoids garages, I was very pleasantly surprised with my recent visit to Chiswisk VW in Jan 2010 to get my car MOT'd. Staff were professional and courteous, and explained everything in simple terms. I didn't feel intimidated, as I have done in previous visits to non-dealer garages. My car passed it's MOT, but a few minor issues were pointed out which would need to be addressed before the next MOT. My questions were answered properly, and staff didn't try to make me part with more money than I had to. My car also had a complimentary wash and vacuum thrown in for free. 10/10 for a positive experience. They obviously know how to deal correctly with their customers, and also how to keep them. I will definitely be returning to the new site that is opening near Gillete corner in Feb 2010, to get servicing etc done. I would definitely recommend a visit to Chiswick VW.

As a female driver I am normally very wary of main dealers,after visiting Chiswick VW for a unexpected repair I am very pleasently surprised.
The staff were friendly and helpful and at no time was I made to feel inferior or that I was wasting their time.A gentleman came and looked at my car with a mechanic and explained what was causing my noise.The car was then taken into the workshop and fixed within the hour.
A truly pleasent experience and I will be going back there when my service is due.

I found Chiswick Volkswagen to be very helpful and courtous.They kept me informed during the whole service process.
A pleasure to deal with which I found quite a suprise for a garage.
