Took my VW 1303S to this guy, and he was helpful, and did a ton of work on the car for a really reasonable price. He knows these cars backwards, and did a really good job. Recommend him to any air-cooled VW owners, he does a lot of stuff for T2 owners too, and was a favourite of the Brockley Bus Club back in the day!

John has agreed to fit a recon waterboxer engine from The Engine Shop to my T25. This is my first dealing with Ace Race. He was courteous and informative plus the price is right. I'll update this review when the engine is fitted but I'm more than happy for now, hence the 10 stars.

I found this man to be rude and grumpy. He had no interest in helping with a legitimate engine repair. Avoid this garage. Not good!
