Don't go there if you don't want to get ripped off. They will always "find" things so you will end up with costly repairs.

I have been a client with Firela for I think 30 years. They have looked after all my cars along the way. A Fiat Panda a 2CV and 3 VW’s. They are not just great mechanics they are the friendliest and kindest people to get to know.
I had some bodywork which was a little rusty and they threw in a touch up for nothing!
I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.

I took my car here yesterday for the first time for a service, tracking and slow puncture. The service was excellent, trustworthy and the prices very reasonable. I think I've found my go to garage. Dont normally leave reviews but these guys are definitely worth a recommendation

Brilliant and efficient customer service and my Fiat Abarth is now running like a dream after the annual service. Will definitely return to Firela Motors and thoroughly recommend this garage to people requiring their Fiat Abarth to be serviced or repaired.

The garage felt like it was in Italy which gave an authenticity that my car would be properly looked after.

Found this place on the internet and am so glad. Marco came to pick up the car on the due date, brought her back as promised, serviced and MOT'd for a reasonable fee (no way near as excruciatingly expensive as the Abarth main dealer had quoted me). Would definitely go back to Firela again, it feels like Italian cars are in their bloodline and they do care about my car as much as I do.

Would highly recommend them. Not only are they very knowledgable, but are very efficient in getting the work completed to a very high standard. Extremely reasonable prices, a lot cheaper than going to a main dealer and paying triple the amount for the same high quality job. 100% would recommend to anyone. Excellent staff and very friendly you feel like your in safe hands.

Just had my first Alfa inspected by Firela. They were recommended by a local parts dealer. All I can say is they were excellent! This is how garages should be run, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Their passion is Alfas and Fiats an it shows! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Having read positive reviews about Firela Motors online I decided to take my Fiat Punto Evo in to have the front wing and wing mirror replaced. The work was completed within 2 days without any hassle and has been finished to a very high standard with the front bumper being resprayed also, the price was also very reasonable. I am extremely happy with the service provided and would recommend it to anyone.

After reading this review forum with regards to Firela Motors, I decided to use them to repair my 07 Semi Automatic Fiat Panda mainly because the majority of positive comments outweighs the 1 negative comment left here and also having had terrible experiences in the past using expensive main dealers I decided that I had to find a good, reliable garage. After embarking on tons of research via the internet I came across this business which I decided to use as they had the least negative comment compared to other car repair business on the internet. Firela Motors repaired my car excellently and were extremely accommodating when I requested that I wanted to see the work in progress. I was shown where the fault lied in my car as they stripped it down, how they would retify it and I was also shown the new boxed parts that were to be used. I cannot fault their workmanship which was professional throughout. These people work extremely hard to build up their business from scratch, as I picked up on from the friendly conversation I had with the owner as I waited. With regards to the 1 negative comment left on this forum, Why didn't you request to observe as the work was being done and shown the parts as they were being assembled?, there are too many holes in the negative comment left for me to take a one-sided overall view on the forum member experience at this establishment. After using highly expensive Fiat main dealers for years I have now finally found an establishment that are not in the car repair business to rip you off but to make a living by charging competitive prices entwined with excellent workmanship whilst promoting excellent customer service I will definitely be using them again. Unlike main dealers they are willing to adjust their price when necessary as the forum member who left a negative comment inadvertently pointed out.

I've just had Firela Motors in Clapham (Firelamotors) take a look at a stiff gear change issue on my Alfa GT. They also found some other faults that they fixed, such as destroyed rear suspension bushes, a loose exhaust at the front, and a very odd noise coming from around the driveshaft. More importantly, they asked me if I wanted these fixed before doing it.

Competent guys, very friendly, and would happily recommend them.

The team at Firela recently serviced my 1979 Spider and provided me with first class service from start to finish.

Firstly, I had to move the date of the service back at short notice and they were extremely accomodating and relaxed about the delay. During the service (which they completed on the same day I dropped the car off), Gian Marco and his team identified issues that had appeared in the last MOT (which they had not seen) and liaised immediately with me as to the work that needed doing and whether I wanted to go ahead. It then took them a day to complete the work using genuine parts they already had in stock.

To top the service off, I couldn't make it in to the garage to pick the car up but the team was more than happy to drop the car off to its spot (with quite complicated instructions to follow).

The car is better than ever thanks to the team at Firela - I recommend everyone with a classic Fiat or Alfa to use them, or even if you have a new car the speed and quality of their servicing is second to none.

We have dealt with a lot of garages in the past but these guys really know what they are doing with Alfa's. They give excellent service and will use second hand parts if you want them to to keep costs down. I couldn't praise them highly enough. Used them several times and every time they are great. Always very quick speedy service, they communicate well, shame they are so far from where I live, but really worth the journey to get the job done quickly and well. Trustworthy.

I have owned my Fiat Punto for the last 6 years. In this time I have always used Firela Motors for servicing and repairs. I have always been given decent advice regarding cost and maintenance. I recently had a fault with the suspension and was quoted by Firela a price. I cross checked this with several other local garages and found that it was a £100 cheaper than any other quote. In addition the quality and standard of work has always been excellent and of the highest standard. I would strongly recommend this family business for their professionalism and friendly service. All you have to do is shop around and see for yourself

I have been taking my fiat Coupe 20 valve turbo to Firela Motors for the past 5 years for service and MOT during this time I had other work taken out, my engine started making a taping/knocking noises after a long drive I stopped and check the oil level it was at the max I didn’t know what it was so I called out the AA. I waited 2 hours for him to tell me it needed further diagnostic at a garage. I had to be towed.
I booked the car in with John at Firela he was very helpful. It turned out to be the big end bearings were knocking I thought it was the end of my pride and joy. John told me not to worry I could have the car back in two days as the big ends can be replaced. I agreed to the work and picked the car up 2 days later it was 100% again I was very happy.
They have also painted my front and rear bumper I was very pleased with the quality of finish and fitting.
Firela always looks busy with all type of cars old and new and different makes. The staff is very helpful. I believe you can’t get better quality work for the price I would recommend them for any type of job.

Mr Torres ( GOLF Diesel 2004 model 102494 MILES). Mr Torres had phoned Firela Motors with the desire to get his car serviced + MOT to which we initially responded over the phone with the standard quote of £ 154. The car then failed its MOT test. Subsequently, we phoned Mr Torres to provide him with the details. They were as follows:

- 2 front complete lower wishbones ( with ball joint )
- Front brakes imbalanced
- 2 lights malfunctioning

The total price: Parts, Labour, Service and MOT was £ 638.64. Mr Torres understandably was very upset so we reduced the price to
£ 455.04 ( £334 + vat + MOT certificate ).

In response to the existing knocking noise ( which hadn’t failed the MOT ), we still asked Mr Torres whether or not he wanted it to be fixed. The customer refused.

Also, it is important to bear in mind that the engine oil of a diesel car that has seen its mileage exceed 100 000 miles will naturally still look black in spite of a oil change.
We advise Mr Torres to inform himself in advance before making false accusations.

PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE!!!

I've never wrote a review in my life, but after booking my MOT+Service with these people and having quoted for it over the phone for £156. It went up to £585!!! because of the "mechanical problems" of my car. They'd previously told me they'd change a rear stop bulb for free (when I told them it had stopped working). They don't even do the MOT in their garage and I don't know whether is a scheme they've got with the garage accross the road.
They told me the car had a knocking in the suspension and I said I'd noticed it but the car had passed the MOT last year to what they responded it was the because of this that the car has failed this time. After begging them to reduce the price they charged me £455 and when I took the car from the place absolutelly frustrated, to my surprise the knocking was still there!!! I went back and Mario told me very "professionally" I could complain to whoever I wanted, that they never told me the knocking would disappear. On the top of that, the day after I checked the oil and it was all black and runny so I Think they didn't even carried out the service!!!. I'm not going to check the filters becaused that would just add to my impotence. The only decent thing I could find to do was writing this review to prevent others to get TOTALLY RIPPED OFF!!!

I telephoned them, spoke to Mario about a problem with a Fiat Punto that i had.
Even though i am in the car trade myself, the man Mario couldn't have been more
helpful. Highly RECOMMEND them. 10 out of 10.

Been going to these guys for 15 years after being ripped off in price for service and other work by the flash Fiat dealership that was in Balham. Theses guys do the same job without the frills and almost half the price.
