I bought a new Triumph Thruxton R at Metropolis a few weeks ago. This is the fourth bike I have bought from Metropolis and the third Triumph. The two most recent bikes I bought through Richard. On every occasion I have found the whole set up at Metropolis excellent and the staff in every department to be most friendly and helpful.

Give yourself at least 40 minutes to pick your bike up even if everything has pretty much been done in advance.
The go-to place in London for a moterbike
Vauxhall area can be quite busy traffic wise, avoid rush hours. The shop gets busy at the weekend, if you want to chat through stuff go during the week, if you can.
Ask for Mark Osborn in sales in the Vespa section, he's a hoot !

I recently did a full DAS course with Metropolis, and they made it very easy. I then went on to buy a Yamaha MT-07. Ian made the whole process very easy, choosing accessories etc. When I went to buy the bike, Ian was away, so Rob sorted the whole purchase out. He was also great, and made the whole process very simple, explaining the tracking system, bike, etc.
I would highly recommend going to Metropolis for training and to buy a bike.

Metropolis were great at getting me on a motorcycle. I learned to ride here with a full DAS course, and then came back to buy a brand new Yamaha MT-07. Ian was great at helping me choose the bike and recommending accessories etc. He was off when I went to finalise buying the bike, so Rob took over, and he was brilliant as well. Highly recommend buying from these guys.

Metropolis was very helpful from the start. Was really good to test drive different bikes before making my mind up of which bike to buy. When i did, Rob at Triumph quickly sorted me out with a new bike and made it easy to sort everything out and i was very happy with the deal he got me . Was also very handy to get a discount in their large shop where the staff gave good advice and were not pushy . Their proximity to town and transport will also make it handy for future servicing. Metropolis made it a joy to buy a new bike and would definitely recommend them .

There are a lot more factors to consider when buying a new bike than you'd first think and Good pre-sales and after sales service ) despite me buying during the obvious 'busy period' over the summer) made decision making much easier.
although I had a short list I wasn't 100% certain which bike I wanted when I walked in but Rob Sutton guided me through from start to finish and I have ended up with the right bike at the right price.

Mark Osborn and his team were fantastic and I would highly recommend them. They took the time to find out what sort of scooter I needed rather than just sell me the most expensive one they could get away with. I felt they really listened to me and ended up showing me several bikes, all newly washed and sparklingly clean! I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or second hand bike.

I bought my first motorcycle at Metropolis in 1994 and my most recent one a month ago. Rob Sutton was fabulous in helping me select the bike I wanted and keeping me posted on progress. He also very patiently helped me select parts to make my bike unique (and very beautiful... a Triumph Thruxton R in Matt black). Rob kept me informed of delivery times, helped me update my clothing and sorted a "back to biking" course.
Most importantly, Rob did everything he said he would: returned calls, sorted financing, was on top of the Triumph, finance and metropolis IT so I wasn't hanging around.
All in all a great experience with a great salesman who at now point seemed to be selling to me. Top marks Rob and I am glad to have met you... and have so much fun!

Fantastic deal and customer service from Rob. He kept in touch and updated me with any information prior to collecting my new bike.
Really friendly and knows his stuff on the Trimph I was buying. Always good when the salesperson has the same bike.

Metropolis has a fantastic stock of motorbikes to choose from and the setting under the arcades in Vauxhall makes it look like alibaba's cavern to the potential buyer that I was. And it's very easy to try them. I chose Triumph and went to Rob Sutton who made the selection process very enjoyable, quick and efficient. Thanks a lot for the advices especially on protecting my new treasure. Rob was very helpful in speeding things so i could get delivery on schedule. On D-day, Rob took all the time to go over the details of the bike and all i have to know about it. And I know he's there for me if I have a question. Great Job Rob. Thanks,

The staff is prepared and with a white knowledge to guide you trough the process of customising, giving you tips and placing the order.
The only cons was a couple of things outside Metropolis domain, the color I ordered wasn't unavailable until September 2016, but they offered another one whiting a week. The other thing is about some accessories, still waiting for a brown bench and the heated grips... But as I'm saying Metropolis isn't the responsible of that.
The experience picking up the motorcycle was fantastic and Rob was super helpful all the time, since the minute one when I contacted trough email with him until the last minute.
If I decide in the future to go for another bike I'll definitely back to Metropolis.

My much loved Honda Fireblade was stolen a couple of weeks ago and I was devastated. Based on my previous experience with them at the late and lamented Greenwich branch I contacted Mark Osbourne in sales who found me an ex-demo MT 07 and Mike Bradley ace spannerman who who serviced it to his usual high standard, everything sorted as promised on time, really went the extra mile for me all round. Highly recommended- thanks guys.

I first went to Metropolis to see the new Honda Africa Twin. I was considering the bike for work, I work as a Film Location Manager and needed something that can carry the gear and go anywhere. He booked me in for a test ride for a couple of hours the next day, even offered to provide me with a longer period if would help to make an opinion.
Needless to say the bike has been bought and Ben was able to walk me through the various payment facilities to find something suitable and tax efficient. A great help with a sensible view on the other bikes in the class. This was the key point in assisting with the choice.
After a few miles, I can safely say that I am very pleased with the purchase, the bike is fantastic.

Went to Ian a few times to help me out to choose a bike, and ended up buying the bike that best suited me, everything smooth and easy. Just a minor issue which was a misunderstanding but apart from that everything was perfect.
