I bought my first bike here, a used 125. The people were really nice and helped me with my choice, they had different models and prices/mileages available. They prepared the bike really quick and put gas and a box on the bike. I would definitely come back when I'll buy a bigger bike.

Took my bike here for an MOT recently, when a re-test was needed they managed to squeeze me in the next day, even though they were fully booked, to get me back on the road. The guy I saw in the shop explained everything to me and couldn't have been more helpful. Will certainly be going back.

I purchased the whole kit and caboodle from these guys. Everything from the bike to the gloves, helmet, leathers and boots etc. As a complete newbie to motorcycling I placed my trust and safety in their knowledge and expertise. I am now unable to ride for no longer than 45 minutes without a substantial break, owing to damage to my neck. The reason for this is unknown, but I am hoping my current physiotherapy sessions will help. One thing I would advise when using WOODFORD MOTORCYCLES is to get a second opinion when buying your helmet for the first time. You MUST have the circumference of your head measured and make sure the fitter/salesperson does a very simple test to see if the helmet is too big or small. Its a very simple test and any competent fitter will know it. They sold me a helmet that was 2 sizes too big. Being so inexperienced, it felt 'SNUG'. That was the only criteria WOODFORD MOTORCYCLES were interested in. No measurements were taken and no 'feel' tests were done. My head has a circumference of 56 cm. (SMALL) I was sold Helmet for a head with a circumference of 59-60 cm (LARGE) It is only now after spending a lot of time with a specialist, trying lots, not just 3, helmets on, have I realized how badly fitted my first Helmet was. I have subsequently found out, that that while wearing such an oversized helmet, my safety was compromised. My message to newbies is make sure you understand as much as possible, the importance of correct sizing. Chris

We are a little suprised at this. We have been here for over 52 years and have a very good idea on helmet fitting.
Should have called back in to the shop, we would always willing to help out with any problems
