About Crafts Council:	Our goal is to make the UK the best place to make, see, collect and learn about contemporary craft. We produce a programme of high-level events for makers to showcase and sell their work directly to the public. We provide an information service for anyone interested in contemporary craft and we research, through partnership, the contemporary craft sector to provide a national and regional overview and to highlight current issues. We manage our own Collection of crafts objects and publish Crafts Magazine six times a year. We stage high-quality exhibitions in national and regional museums and galleries, and create opportunities for people to see contemporary craft in a variety of contexts.
