If you have never been down Hanway Street, you must go. Stop for a drink in Bradley’s Spanish Bar then move onto On the Beat where all your secondhand vinyl desires will be met. Modest prices and well stocked with gems of all genres – shops like this should have protected status.

This shop has a lot of character. It's very haphazard but that's part of its charm. And there are some real gems to be found if you are patient. Highly recommended for its collection. The only drawback was the service... maybe the guy was having a rough day but I felt the service was poor and not very welcoming. In a time where the shops are competing with the internet I think human interaction is such a positive draw to the real shops. It’s just a shame because other that it's a fantastic shop.
