I used to live in Brixton and now i live in Atlanta and im sad to hear Red Records is gone. It has been a part of Brixton's history for over 25 years . I remeber getting my first 50 pound note and not knowing what to do with it ,and then going Red Records and buying my fist album Keith Sweat;s Make it last forever . on tape!!!!! i played that tape till it bust.!!!! lol. I will say that they were always helpful with selecting music. I went in one day wanting a Garage cd ,but not having a clue where to start ,and the guy in there gave me a few cd which turned out to be one of the baddest selections ever. Thanks Red Records you;ll always have a place in my heart and anyone else who grew up in Brixton in the 80's 90'. one love. r.i.p.

Where has Red Records gone. I ordered a CD to pick up last week Friday, got to the shop, and it was locked, my colleague whom I was with said maybe they had gone for prayers; being a Friday- we got closer, all the records,CDs,Fixtures have been pulled out.
Are you under renovation,don't want to think the WORST?!!!!!
