I have been using KVJ Fairdeal since the early 90s. Delighted to see they're still around and doing well. Best prices still.

Ordered Audio cassettes on line. Delivered the next day. Excellent service and very competetive prices.

I was recording at the (now closed) Soup Studio up at the other end of Brick Lane, we needed to take away a copy of the masters and the individual tracks for future reference. As we had forgotten to bring an external drive, I looked up KVJ Fairdeal to see if they sell them.
I have been using KVJ Fairdeal for about 6 years - they are utterly brilliant. Anyway - so I told the engineer I was off to KVJ to get the drive - and he said "where?"
"You're kidding me - you don't know about the cd shop at the bottom of Brick Lane?"
"Oh - you mean the best shop in the world"...
Not a word of a lie - this conversation actually took place and pretty much sums up what KVJ Fairdeal is like (at least pricewise). These guys are incredible value. Two caveats to this review:
They don't take cards. It's a pain in the backside and it means you end up running to a cashpoint, and it's why I didn't give them a 10.
The customer service is sometimes a little slow - again that's why they don't get a 10.
But then when you're the best shop in the world, who cares about customer service or cards ;)

I ordered 4.30 pm on Thursday and received e-mail acknowledgment same day. On Friday mid-day I received a further e-mail telling me the items had been dispatched by Royal Mail as requested. This is the cheapest delivery option and was informed to expect delivery on Monday mornings. They actually arrived at 9.15 am on the Saturday safely and securely packaged. Excellent service. I will use them again and can recommend them for efficiency, superb service and excellent value.

I have been going to this shops for 15 years or more for cassette tapes, video tapes, 35mm film, cdrw, dvdrw, memory cards, batteries, etc, etc. It's cash only sales but their prices are definitely the cheapest around and in many cases cheaper than online, if you buy in bulk (5 or more)they are very cheap indeed. I recommend this shop because the staff are helpful and know what they are talking about.
