Been happy customer of shop for c.20 yrs. Recently, had a relatively minor issue with an item but one easy to resolve. It has taken 4 visits to try, inc today.

Been left incredulous at the manner in which I was spoken to today by the deeply unpleasant Manager, Sxx

When he realised shop had failed again, he was instantly defensive & argumentative. He arrogantly attempted to consistently talk over me in an highly aggressive manner in attempt to belittle & intimidate me.

I could not imagine him talking to a man in that manner.

Assistant embarrassed & had good grace to apologise for Sxx’s behaviour after I said how upsetting & unnecessary this attack was, but Sxx wasn’t finished yet & went in for round 2, telling me to get out & never come back (an unlikely scenario after today’s performance anyway but...).

Manager is not fit to hold position. He is ill mannered at best & not in control of his temper at worst.

High quality products if you want them, open to negotiation too. I found the customer service very decent, unlike the other reviewer.

My pillowcase was faulty, so he gave me a new one without a reciept or asking any questions at all. Very decent of him.

The duvet cover and sheet is a funny texture, quite silky shiny, which does look quite 'pimp'. Probably would be a good idea to wash the brown one separate to your shirts and sheet...as I learned when they all turned pink... I have a mattress topper from there too, which is brilliant for turning a crappy mattress into quite a good one.

The shop has limitless options, mattresses from £75 - £2000 and like I said, make sure you haggle with them as they are open to a bargain!!

I purchased a mattress and a base there a few months ago. To be fair, the price was decent, it was a good quality product and the store is conveniently located in the middle of Balham. But on the negative side, I have found their customer service to be absolutely appalling. I will not go into details but I thought that both the in-store staff and the delivery guys were rude, unhelpful and (in at least one instance) downright insulting. I will never step foot in this place again. I would suggest that you go to Ikea instead.
