Satisfied with the quality of the carpet, the customer service, however has been horrible. Very abrasive manager, not helpful at all and will not use them again even though as i mentioned the quality of the carpet i bought was not bad at all.
Ordered a carpet for my son's bedroom. It was the first time I have used this company but decided to give them a try as they offered a better choice of underlay and one more suited to what I was looking for. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but the service was friendly and helpful and the advice the offered was useful. I also got my measurements slightly wrong and called them up on a Sunday to try and sort the problem. I half expected problems but they were again very helpful and sorted it out quickly. The fitter gave a precise arrival time and arrived at that time, and was quick and efficient. He appears to have done a good job (touch wood) aside from one or two tiny areas where the underlay doesn't feel quite as thick. But that is a very minor quibble. Overall, I would say the offer good value and great service and I would highly recommend them.
Have bought 3 carpets from this company over the past 3 years for buy to lets and most recently for my own flat. Service on the whole is great and they acn fit the carpets pretty quickly.
Reason for this review and for the high marks is that my most recent purchase had a p roblem. The fitting of the carpet wasn't done correctly and the carpet hadn't been stretched enough so was therefore coming out of the door bars and was riding off the underlay so appeared ruffled.
I contacted Carpet Smart 11 months after the fit and they sent someone round to check the problem. When they saw the fault they apologised and immediately stretced the carpet out. I have to say I was expecting a real battle on this but I was really pleasantly surprised with how the company dealt with the complaint, especially afetr such a long period. Really good customer service, great products and pretty reasonable prices plus, it seems an excellent after sales service. I will be using again and again.
I bought a carpet from them last weekend. Naturally, when a place has a bad review like the one I read here, you tend to be a little concerned. I can say without reservation that the experience I had of buying from them was nothing short of perfect. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with my deliberations. I placed an order on Saturday, and the carpet was fitted on Wednesday. There was no pressure from them to place an order unlike other places I had been to. And the price of the carpet was great.
I don't post reviews often, but after receiving such a good experience thought it was fair to post this having seen the previous negative one.
Do not order from these people. At point of order they do not tell you that should you try to cancel any part of the order they will tell you they CAN'T and therefore you have to take the order. Only part with your money if you believe and trust the company will deliver good quality goods, remember you pay upfront so tough luck if anything goes wrong!! Watch out shoddy company ethics!!

With sales of over 2 million pounds annually and currently no customer service issues I think that the single review is perhaps a little unfair.
