I had my entire house carpeted and am very pleased with the workmanship of Ajaz and his colleague. I highly recommend Gandhi carpet to anyone who wants new carpet fitted.

Honestly, at first i wasn't too sure whether to use gandhi carpets after being recommended by a friend because the reviews were not good at all and so i really wasnt too sure.
but after looing at some of their work, i decided to go ahead with them and i must say they did not disappoint.
The staff was really nice and friendly and the final carpets result was amazing.... i really wouldn't go anywhere else after this.
I definitely recommend gandhi to anyone and everyone.

Very pleased with the personal service given by all of the staff at Gandhi Carpets especially Amman and Sanjay, it was like buying from an old friend or even family member who had your best interest at hart, someone who was not trying to fleece you out of a extra few quid. I can’t fault these guys in any way, nothing is ever too much for them. Excellent service (First Class), with lots great offers in store.
Gandhi Carpet improved on quotes from Eastern Carpets & Taqwa Carpets by nearly halving the amount, so the price was exceptional. Fitting was arranged extremely promptly as well as efficiency in getting rooms measured and advice given on particular fitting requirements.
I could confidently say I that I can and will recommend these guys 110% every time.

Lovely experience
What a lovely surprise to find Gandhi Carpets, they were recommended by a neighbour and I haven't been disappointed. Courteous salesperson who has made my order an easy and pleasant experience. I can recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Very helpful staff at shop especially who provide excellent advise on types of carpets and the process from ordering to fitting. Carpet fitted to a very high standard job. Carpet fiited in large lounge,hall and stairs 3 days ago very happy with fitting would strongly recommend.

Gandhi carpets fitters worked wonders on laying the carpets and wood flooring in my house.
They worked till very late in the evening,they made life easy for me by moving all the furniture and cleared everything away afterwards.

The team at the Chadwell Heath store are incredibly helpful and polite. The carpet fitters did a fantastic job. We have since been back into the store to get laminate flooring for the downstairs as we were so impressed. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time we have used Gandhi Carpets and they have been excellent on both occasions. Special thanks go to the guys in the Chadwell Heath showroom who were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and arranged everything (including matching the flooring we got last year in another room). We were also asked if we wanted the same fitters as last year which we did because they do superb work and go out of their way to make sure you are happy with everything.
Great service, quality and price. Highly recommended.

My carpet was fitted today and I love it…
I was welcomed into the store and offered assistance or the option to look around and if I needed help to ask. I really liked this as I didn't feel pressured in any way.
I was able to take my time. When I asked for help the guys in store were friendly professional and had a sound knowledge of the products. I purchased the carpet that day.The updates were very helpful.
Well done . The other staff I have spoken to on the phone were friendly patient and eager to help in any way.
I'll be back for my stair carpet soon.

Excellent job by the Chadwell Heath store and fitters
We ordered carpets for the entire upstairs and stairway and lino for our bathroom, it all arrived on time, and was fitted without any mess. Really pleased with the service from Gandhi Carpets.

Bought a new bedroom carpet from Gandhi carpets. Very pleased with the helpful, friendly service we received. Carpet arrived on time. NIce quality at competitive price. The friendly carpet fitter cleared up after himself and took away the waste. Great communication throughout; they were on the ball. Overall a very satisfying purchase!

Eastham Store - welcoming staff, allowed us to browse the showroom before asking if we needed assistance, this is something I like, I feel less hassled!

We visited Gandhi carpets and this must have been the most easiest purchase of a carpet I have ever experienced! the sales man we dealt with understood what we needed and helped with the decision, we gave him the measurements of the room and he helped again with the decision of the underlay, very patient man!
The two rooms we had the carpets replaced look amazing the fitter kept us informed from the arrival time to the end. He removed my old carpets and underlay and took these away which we have never been offered this service before, you do get charged for this and this is arranged when you purchase the carpet but it took away the hassle of getting rid of the old carpets.
Well to end this review I was so impressed that I will 100% be returning and purchasing more carpets or flooring from Gandhi carpets

where to start? I ordered a toilet liner two weeks ago and when they came to put it on there was a long visible scratch on the liner,so I asked for a replacement. they booked me an another appointment on 13.1.17 from 9-12pm and I have been waiting but they weren't coming, I rang them at 2 pm and was told they are in my area and will be there within an hour again I started to wait but there was no sign of them turning up so I rang again at 4 pm and was told they gone to barking and will be there in half an hour,again I started to wait but they weren't coming so I rang again at 5:30pm and was told to wait on the line by the manager so he can find out, I was holding the line for 30 mins and at 6pm the manager cut me off (rude). I rang again & the manager denying to speak to me and told the worker that it's not gonna be possible today so wait till tomorrow, I called next day and was told they didn't even order my liner and don't know how long that will take, they wasted my time,a

I have just had carpets done by Ghandi carpets and they have done an excellent job, they have great customer service, regular phone calls to check everything is going well and on time. I would highly recommend Ghandi carpets to anyone.

Horrific Experience.
They barely speak English!
They ask for payment in advance and their after payment service is just terrible.
They were supposed to arrive in the afternoon and they made it only at 6 in the evening following at least 5 calls on my side.
They were fitting the carpet with their shoes on. It was a rainy day and the carpet had various black spots which i had to clean myself.
The house has just been painted and altough they were warned to be carefull they kept touching the wall and moving furnitures without caring.
They left all the rubish outside my door...Unacceptable...

One of my worse experience of customer service in my life and i am comparing to countries i have travelled to also!
Fitters don’t turn up, person that picks up the phone can’t speak English and is no help and no apology received. Also agreed on a new date for fitting only to be told they just noticed the carpet has run out so will have to revisit the shop to pick another. oh let’s not forget the measurements person forgets to attend on the agreed day.
Dealing with this company has been a total nightmare!

Worst carpet shop in newham. Disgraceful customer service. Treat you with no respect when in their shop and continue to talk in the language when negotiating prices. They failed to show up on the day which we had booked and came the next morning with only one worker who spoke no English and was rough when moving the furniture. Whilst fitting the carpet he left noticeable mistakes. Once finished he took it upon himself to sit down in my house and wait to be picked up by colleagues. Avoid them at all costs

I have tried to call Gandhi carpets on two separate occasions and both times the gentlemen if I can call him that was less the polite. He did not take the time to listen to the questions I was asking but was talking over me. On the first occasion I was told to come to the shop to ask questions and then the phone was put down. On this occasion I managed to get a price but not in the carpet I was asking for. They are less then helpful and I will not waste my time calling or going there in person unless it's to give them a piece of my mind.

They need to improve quite a lot starting from their manners over the phone as well as their harsh direct sales tactics. They make you wait in store but give you no indication how long they might be. They always push you towards the more expensive carpets and never disclose the full costs they seem to be hidden. The people they send to measure up your carpets need to improve on their customer service as well. Use this company as a barometer but don't feel pressured to go with them. Look around and try and go for 2 local and 2 national suppliers and find out all the costs before you decide.Sa

Not as cost effective as it seems, underlay included but poor quality. Pricing is not transparent or explained. Appointments not met but dismissed as not their fault. No customer care or after care. Only suitable for landlords.

I have just called the shop and not even visited them, they did not understand what I was trying to say to them. I don't even want to go in and speak to them. I suggest they polish up how they speak to potential customers.

Ganhi carpets have an immense choice of quality carpets to choose from in all shades and textures, which is a real advantage. Their customer service, however, is practically non-existent. They are not attentive to customers at all, and to be honest I get the feel that they are only catering for their own community. They chat away in front of customers in their own language and you feel you are intruding when you try to break up the conversation to ask how much something you fancy is per square meter. If Gandhi Carpets were more organized and attentive to customers I would give them 10/10 because they really do stock quality carpet. Customer service is really important to me, and I am not impressed so far. Sorry Gandhi, you can do a lot better.

Very unprofessional advice given by the managers in the shop. They guy who came to fit the lino we ordered said straight away that we should have ordered a longer width roll to avoid joins (which I knew nothing about). So we rang up the shop and asked them to change the order to a longer width for a more professional finish (as we were not advised of this before - no mention of joins). Next day someone came to fit it, rolled out the lino and it was completely different to what we had ordered. Called up the manager and he decided to change the pattern as the one which we liked does not come in a longer width roll...lovely. He then kept some of the money upon us cancelling the order!! Really unprofessional, no advice given. Just botch jobs. Unless you know what you are doing - and make it abundantly clear to them exactly what you want - i'd stay away.
