This company claims to be a superior building company but my experience with this company has not been satisfactory. The following are some examples of why I would not recommend this company.

1. This company charges extra for things such as "tile selection". This means that if you supply tiles and some of those tiles are chipped or damaged, they will charge you extra in order to 'select' the non-chipped tiles.

2. They installed plug sockets above a ridge but did not leave enough room above the ridge so I could not insert plugs properly. When I raised this issue I was told the electrician installed the sockets where he did because he did not have a drawing showing him exactly where the sockets should be placed. In my opinion a qualified and competent electrician should not require a drawing to show him how high sockets should be placed.

3. The door frames they created were approx 10 mm out. This meant that no matter how much the carpenter tried to adjust the door, it could never be flush when closed.

4. I found their plasterwork is not up to scratch. They attempted to replaster the wall three times and in the end I had to get another company in to replaster the walls.

5. They made good walls and left them 5mm out so they did not look straight. When I raised this issue I was told I was being picky.

6. When I had problems with this firm I found them to be very aggresive. For example when problems arose they sent around a team which included all of their subcontractors plus three of their own company who were all present at the same which I found to be extremely intimidating.

I found their work to be shoddy and the firm itself difficult to deal with for reasons outlined above. A very unpleasant experience.
