I bought two sofas from this company costing £4500
Negatives .
On delivery there were problems with all the seat and back cushions, no piping and I had concerns with overal quality of all cushions in general . very slow to respond to any of my e mails of complaint and didn't fix all the problems I listed .when cushions were returned .after fixing The back cushions Still don't fit their covers well and the stitching/piping is twisted along the top of two back cushions so no matter how much fluffing they will not look straight. The seat cushions were fixed and looked good .Personally I will not use this company again I didn't think the overal quality and after customer care matched the high price tag .that's only my opinion after comparing with my last sofa that cost around the same price .

Have read the other reviews and I'm really surprised! I've already had one sofa and have now ordered 2 more for another room as I was so happy with the service from start to finish. The sofa is so comfy and well made; totally worth the money!

The following sequence of events actually happened:
Visited Sofa Design 9/02/11 and purchased stock items in total for £1050 (Invoice No 1377)and told delivery would be 18/02/11
Received letter dated 22/02/11 stating that stock items had been damaged and that these are being replaced by new models in the Canns design and would take approx 4 to 8 weeks for delivery
Visit to Horns Road showroom to enquire about progress. Advised that delivery would be between 15.00 to 17.00 on 21/04/11.
Received phone call at 14.00 on 21/04/11 advising that goods were not available and didn't know when.
Visit showroom the same day to demand money back; accepted immediately with apology.
Received total refund 22/04/11
I would NOT recommend this business to a friend

I bought two 2 seater sofas a winged back chair and a Louis chair in 1994 from this company. Had them reupholstered once since.
They are not only beautiful looking they have stood up to the rest of time and are still as good as new.
How many other companies can say this .

Mr Hart purchased a leather 3 seater recliner sofa and recliner chair, from a range we do not make in our own workshop,the goods were delivered damaged to us from our suppliers, at which point Mr Hart was offered a full refund or the option of waiting for new stock to arrive, he accepted the latter, but unfortunately the stock did not arrive on the date we were told, Mr Hart was given a full refund, the stock arrived 4-5 days later and Mr Hart was phned to say the furniture was now in and if he had not purchased anything else we could deliver the following day and compensate him for the inconvienience we had caused him, but he had purchased furniture elsewhere.
