I couldn't recommend this shop highly enough. I have bought carpets, curtains and blinds and never been disappointed on price or quality. Mr. Defty is extremely busy but if you have the patience to do your own research he will always be competitive on prices. The carpet fitters are friendly and very fast with delivery and fitting. I recently ordered a curtain track and it was delivered and hung within 2 days and the curtains too by his expert curtain maker.Do pay Taylor & Marr a visit and I'm sure you will return.

I agree with the previous reviews but they are so busy that going to the shop has become a rather unpleasant experience. You get very little help as they are constantly talking on their handsfree phones, and are made to feel rather unwelcome. I think I will find somewhere else to buy my material in future.

We are working on a number of solutions to address this including moving to an appointment only option on Wednesday afternoons, meaning that customers can pre-book time with us in the knowledge that they will not be interrupted. Exremely competitive pricing,low-key, small but busy shop. My carpets were laid within 2 days of ordering: very impressive!

This is a very popular and well patronised local interior design shop which will happily arrange almost anything from the seriously up-market to regular economy materials. Has a huge variety of choice and friendly knowledgeable service. Highly recommended.
