I recently suffered nightmare service by this retailer. I ordered bespoke furniture and the sales chap was very smooth and charming. I paid upfront with an expected 6-8 week delivery. 20+ weeks later and with the help of Consumer Direct I managed to get the furniture delivered except it wasn't what was discussed and agreed. Everything but the colour was incorrect. Not the right sizes, wrong furniture and the furniture on the units were a mixture of brass and silver, badly sprayed. Nothing good about it at all. Battle now on for a refund. It's so bad even the retailer doesn't want it back. Says it all really.

I'm very disappointed with Homestyled having bought a "Solid Oak" table and 6 chairs from them and been initially very happy with it. So much so I have recommended a number of family and friends who have also bought from them.

After having the table for 3 years and looking after it very well. It seems to appear that the table is not a solid oak table at all it has a venner top.

The table has small hairline splits all over the centre section . The two end sections are still beautiful pieces of wood.

I bought this table hoping it would last a good few years having now only lasting 3 and there is nothing Homestyled will do about it without the original receipt even thought they know the table came from them.

I love going in this store, it's like emporium meets treasure trove. They seem to continually get new and curious things in for the home. Be warned, I've found some items turn out to be one of a kind, I saw a lamp I liked, i'd thought about it and gone back to buy, only to find I had missed out and it had sold between time. If you like it buy there and then, or at least ask if they will get more.
