I walked past the Gallery this week and it reminded me of the last time I went in. The consultation took an exceptionally long time - I listened to stories about literally everything before we got down to business. OK if you're feeling friendly, less so if you're in a hurry. Customer service errs on the side of rude and dismissive at times. I think the owner believes that customers are at his mercy and forgets that we pay him a lot of money. The last time I almost left mid-way through consultation because I was so surprised at the sudden rudeness. Since then I have taken pieces elsewhere.

I rarely feel strongly enough to leave compliments/complaints for a store but felt upset enough about the delays, level of service and attitude of this shop to share that I don't plan on shopping here again. I wish their customer service could improve.

I am genuinely sorry that you had a bad experience when shopping with us, however, as you did not actually raise this with us at the time to the best of my knowledge, and as you dont seem to post on here in your real name it is very difficult if not impossible to put this right to our mutual satisfaction. I can only improve our customer service if I know whats wrong.

After looking at other reviews I decided to give Phillips a go. After a full and slightly strange consultation we agreed on what was to be done. I was told 2 weeks, but it took 4 weeks. On pick up i noticed two defects, but these were repaired a few days later. Overall, not an amazing expereince, but I have exactly what I wanted for a competitive price.

I just popped in to enquire about a picture frame hook, and was then subjected to the most patronising, unfriendly service I have ever experienced in London. Never again.

I took my print from the Southbank in to be framed at there advice.
I was quoted 2 weeks do do the framing and told I would be contacted once it was ready.
It is now 7 weeks since I took the print in, I have been into the shop and called several times and been told each time that it would be ready the next day or two and they would call me to arrange delivery / pickup. Not once have they had the courtesy to call me and they have never apologized for the delay.
I understand that they frame picture for gallarys and exhibitions and I am not high on there list of customers but I have found the entire process, from conversations with the framer, which I found to be patronizing, to customer service to be an extremely badly run business.
I only hope that when I do eventually get my print the framing is immaculate and I can amend this review .

Excellent service and a great number of frames ready and available plus a bespoke service. Kevin has a remarkable eye and he will help you will frames, mounts and colours. As an Artist - even I still ask Kevin's opinion on mount colours and he's always right. Can't reccomend this place highly enough.
