Although I was born in Bushy (London), I live in Belgium.
I was in London during the sales. When I pasted “Sheen Kitchen Design” on Upper Richmond Road,I saw a beautiful “Franke” kitchen tap in the window, on nearly half the normal price.
I did bought the tap and in my hurry I forgot to asked about the guarantee documents.
When I was back at my place I installed the tap in my kitchen. Unfortunaly, it was dripping when both valves where closed.
So I sent a e-mail to “Sheen kitchen design”. I did included a photograph of the tap. I mentioned, being an engineer, I could repair the tap myself, if I had the right spare parts.
They contacted the manufacturer and without any problem the shop sent me the spare parts I needed to repair the tap.
This all happened without any payment from my part.
This is worthwhile mention it on this website, because this is a nice example of good after sales service.
I will sent this letter also to “Testaankoop” a consumer magazine in Belgium.
