The Hobby Shop

Love this shop people are really nice and helpful being female I do not have any idea what I am talking about but if I explain my problem they always help me without me feeling like a dumb blonde. I hope it stays in Elm Park forever but for that to continue we all need to support our local shops to receive this service, well done to everyone who works there. Thanks for all your help

Staff are always friendly and helpful, I've been buying DIY stuff there for as long as I can remember. Unlike so many places these days, they actually know what they are talking about!

Superb service. They even ground down some screw heads so that they would fit the outboard motor I was working on. Nothing is too much trouble. If you only want 6 washers, they will sell you 6 washers. Not like the big DiY stores where you have to buy 50 or 100 of everything

One of the few independent DIY stores that survives in the Havering area. Helpful staff reassuringly clad in 'foreman' type coats who make you feel comfortable even if you lack knowledge of DIY. Often as cheap or cheaper than the big chains without that feeling of being engulfed or lost in a massive store. Obviously they don't have such a wide range of stock but they will order. Has a timber section attached out back where they will cut any purchases to the sizes you require. Long may they survive.
