Argos

I went into the Camden Branch to return something which I'd bought on a gift card and I had no receipt. I was told to call Argo Head Office and that I'd need to give the till number that I bought the item! How is anyone supposed to remember which till they used! Argos Head Office did NOT need that information.
I later returned with my gift card and wasn't allowed to return the product due to a time factor, even though the manufacturer had told both me and a member of the Argos staff who had spoken to them that I would be able to.
Finally I asked how much was left on my gift card and they couldn't tell me. I asked if gift cards expired and was told they do. I asked when mine would expire and they couldn't tell me. Now, looking on the website, I see you can check those details online, but the woman who served me wasn't prepared to give me that information.

I dealt with 3 members of staff, and one was very helpful. The other two really were not.

No, worst customer service, the sales person made me and my hubby pack our shopping and we had few items to pack even tough she saw we had a baby with us and she forgot to give the receipt. When I asked her about the lids for the storage boxes she looked very annoyed. After all customers pay their wages, found her very rude, she told her colleague not to pack for us. I think she could've helped us to pack, smile a little and return the receipt.
