Wimbledon Sewing Machine Co

This is a truly wonderful shop - a real treasure trove! As well as selling a range of sewing machines (old and new) they do repairs and servicing. There's a really good selection of haberdashery and fabrics. And they also sell some wool (but not a very big selection). The staff are very helpful, really friendly and knowledgeable. Its also very convenient - being just by South Wimbledon tube station. And there's a really good coffee shop a couple of shops away - it has great cakes!

Brilliant shop- whenever I visit my daughter in Wimbledon I try and drop in. SO helpful, answering all my questions happily, with great range of well priced products.

What a refreshing change,to find a proper,old fashioned shop.My sister and I,were at South Wimbledon for a meeting,and stumbled upon,this little gem.
Stock levels and value,are unbelievable.
Staff are helpful and knowlegable.

I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I took an old sewing machine which was looked at free of charge and given a price for repair. No pressure to have the work done, just friendly, old fashioned service.
I shall be going there again.
