The sandwiches are nothing exceptional and staff are very rude. Mine was served with an ice cold filling: I was never asked if they wanted to heat it. When I came back to the shop, they wanted to reheat it in an unhygienic manner, which would have resulted in the next customer being infected with my MRSA.
I had to stop them from this, and when I did so they refused to give me a new sandwich and were extremely rude, pointing their finger at me. Furthermore, it seemed to me that they used a low-quality cheese analogue instead of real cheese. Definately not coming back.

I'm sorry for your experience at my shop. I was the manager who served you and my employee at the time did ask you if you would like your sandwich hot or cold. She heard you say cold and as a result did what you asked.
When you decided you wanted it hot I came to heat it in an oven that was not being used for the rest of the day as our rush was over, I didn't feel you gave me the opportunity to explain. All ovens are cleaned at the end of the day. As the customers get less after lunch we turn off ovens to leave just one until closing. I would never reuse the spade I heated your sandwich on for another customer. As a family we have been in this business for 17 years and we work very hard to maintain hygiene and customer services standards. You didn't seem happy so I thought best to give you your money back because we had sold out of the fillings you wanted for a new sandwich and you didnt seen to want to accept that and to be honest i was getting a little fearful becasue i couldnt seem to calm you down that this is our system and sometimes we sell out on fillings. You seemed upset and i thought that was the best thing to do. But then you threatened to close my business. This hit a nerve with me. It's a family business and we work so hard to keep things going and every customer counts. To be threatened is not pleasant and I'm afraid that to me is an aggressive customer and as a result I was very concerned for my safety and my staffs which is why I asked you to leave. After you left I had a regular customer there who was also shocked by your response because if you know us and our business you would know this is not a situation we have ever come across and he was concerned for our safety.
You have also left the same review on trip advisor for our other shop. This shop is managed by my mother and father and they have not done anything wrong for this review to be posted under their shop address. I would be grateful if you would remove this as they were not involved in this situation.
I wish you a prosperous future I am truly sorry if you felt you did not get the customer service you thought you deserved. We closed our Charlotte Street branch because we're a family business and it was hard to keep two shops going in two locations far from each other.
