I used Salt & Pepper’s catering service and they were great in every respect. The owners, Sue & John took the time to talk us through our requirements and to come up with a selection of dishes that suited our needs and budget. The vegetarian dishes by Sue were a hit with the carnivores and vegetarians alike; the couscous & chick pea salad with fresh herbs is zingy and amazing. Try it, please! The carnivores had the chicken with lemon & sweet potatoes which was beautifully cooked. The service on the day was fantastic; the team was on time and completed the set up very quickly. The quality of the food is the best, with plenty of the produce from local sources and the owner’s allotment. Excellent quantity and quality.

I love visiting Salt & Pepper. There is such a friendly vibe, and a complete cross-section of people there. John & Sue make you very welcome with homemade, top quality foods at great prices. The owners encourage artists and creatives in the local area so there is art & sculpture on the walls, music playing and lively conversation. Plus great smells wafting from John's hotplate. Try a fresh coffee and you will always get a complimentary mini-slice of whatever fresh cake is on display. Double yummy!

What a delight to find this gorgeous little cafe on a miserable cold and wet day. A very cheery greeting followed by a swiftly served direct to my seat hot, rich coffee. I was informed of the owners desire to use as much fresh in season and local produce as possible so I will certainly be back to sample the lunches.

I like this clean little new addition to the cafe culture of Southfields. On the three times I have been there I find the food and service of a good standard. I particularly like that the coffees come with some small nibbles - chocolates and seasonal fruit. I also like the variety of good you can get there. My only concern is that it is so laid back that if you are in a hurry it can take some time. Additionally the prices are a little on the higher side of reasonable! Otherwise a nice little cafe which hopefully lasts the distance!
