My friends and I went here for 'afternoon tea'. We ordered the cream tea and an extra tea and scone. What we got was very disappointing. The scones were small and weren't fresh at all. The clotted cream was the closest thing to butter you could get and as for the cupcakes; dry as cork-board and definitely not made fresh that day.
I would not go back here. It was very overpriced. What we got in total was three cups of tea, three mini scones with a small pot of jam and four miniature dry cupcakes and the bill came to over £20. I was very tempted not to pay the 12.5% service charge which I thought was extortionate considering that we were waiting for so long.... never again. I thought it would be a different experience to the usual chain coffee stores like Costa and Cafe Nero but honestly you would get so much better there for a quarter of the price!
