Inside this is an architectural gem, and is one of the few remaining original London caffs. Fabulous service from the Italian family who own this, the River Cafe is simply brilliant as the decor is original.

The mince pies that I ate at the River Cafe were the best I have ever eaten. I liked them so much that I bought 4 extras to take home for dinner that night. the coffee and hot chocolate were very good too. The service was so friendly, that if I lived in the area, I'd go there every day. I'm considering a trek across town just for a taste of another mince pie or 2.
