Useful Tips from AIL Users

Try the Crabmeat Quiche. It's a new and great addition to the menu.

My brother and I enjoyed two visits to Ruskins during our visit to London. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere is very nice and the food was great. The prices are fair. We enjoyed quiches and salads and pastries. It was indeed one of the memorable stops during our day.

It was awful. This was probably one of the worst English Cafe I have beet¡n to. I think it was really expensive and the quality was just not good. I found the service to be really slow and not friendly, with a nasty attitude. this is definitely a place where I wil not come back.

Sadly I have to echo and agree with the other reviews- shocking experience, verging on abusive.
The food isn't anything worth writing about- bland, reheated, and overpriced fodder.

A very ugly Jekyll & Hyde character lies behind this otherwise unassuming cafe.

Avoid. Go anywhere else!

Have to say it wasn`t a good experience at all-hence this review. Coffee was weak and lukewarm and staff very rude and unfriendly--in fact, they started making a lot of personal comments which are completely uncalled for. I really couldn't believe it. Next time me and my friend (who was also shocked by the experience) will go to one of the other cafés in the area (and there are a lot) where the staff are a lot more pleasant and the coffee much better. Why pay for bad treatment?

I'm afraid I couldn't recommend this place--the coffee was weak, and when I asked for it to be stronger, even offering to pay for another shot, the staff were rude. I have been there a few times in the past but next time I'll go to Costa round the corner.
