Located in the crypt of St Martin’s, at the edge of Trafalgar Square, this welcoming and hidden café has been a favourite of tourists and locals alike for 30 years. Original brick-vaulted ceilings and historic tombstones lining the floor provide the backdrop to a varied selection of freshly prepared, value for money food throughout the day.
It is the perfect place if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to sit and work or have a small meeting.

I have a rampant affection for hummus sandwiches and fresh, hand-pressed red cox apple juice. Mmmm. Right up my street. This place is a bit different - a nice change from the homogenised chain cafes scattered across the city.

Me and my family went in, and went out again, without eating. You couldn't get an apple juice or a cheese and pickle sandwich, only hummus sandwiches and fresh hand pressed red cox apple juice. If you like that kind of thing that's fine but for people like my family, you'de be better of at a little cafe or sandwich bar.
