Brill is a breath of fresh air, think walking into a cosy apartment and being greeted by the smell of delicious food the walls lined with records and great chilled tunes filling the air. I was exhausted and rather deflated after an interview and the friendly girls running the place put a smile on my face. It's the kind of food you'd like to make for yourself homemade toasted bagels with delicious fillings, good smelling coffee and unpretentious old fashioned sweet delights like scottish tunnocks bars priced at 30p. There is a real feeling of a community here, tickets being made for the next local music concerts you feel like not like a customer but a friend they've just discovered. I mean that without being twee, honestly Brill cheered me up. Will be coming back tomorrow with a friend.
