Arsenal Fish Bar

There is no way the other review is a real one by a customer. This fish and chip shop used to be great until it got taken over by new owners, about 5 years ago. I live locally and I stuck by it hoping that the new owners will get into the rhythm of running a chip and fish bar. But they have not. The chips are either cold or undercooked (sometimes raw). It takes ages to get served. Their large portion is smaller than a small else where - which is a good thing as you end up throwing it away anyway. The fish is not nice. It's a shame, as they seem to cater to the Arsenal crowds, who don't seem to care, where their local clientele, such as myself, know that the food here is un-eatable. It's a shame, as Friday evening was Arsenal fish and chips night. No longer.

Excellent takeaway restaurant which is a haven for all devoted Arsenal FC fans and which serves delicious food at very competitive prices. One of my favourite places to eat here in London. Thoroughly recommended. Superb place to eat.
