Put prices up recently - chow mein from £4 to £5.50!! Almost worth £4, definitely not worth £5.50. Stir fried veg had more juice than veg - and was even more expensive than the chow mein. Wasn't terrible, *just simply not worth the price*

Veg spring rolls were exactly the same as the ones sold in Tesco. Bad move.

Another bad move? When I asked when they put their prices up, they responded 'two months ago'. What they don't know is that I live directly across the street. They put their prices up last week.

I don't like giving liars money for over-priced, mediocre-quality foo

I don't understand how you can place an advertisement outside your establishment advertising pizza every single day and legitimately and repeatedly use the excuse 'we've run out of dough'. Far from the first time this has happened. Unimpressed on behalf of many.

This was the worst experience ever.

Took ages to arrive, then order arrived and was wrong and cold! Called to ask them to deliver the missing dishing to be spoken to very rudely saying they didn't care and that they had other customer to look after.

I would not order ever again and feel very upset by how unpleasant they were

I have been using this takeaway for 13 years. It has changed hands over the past three years three times. Unfortunately as they have expanded the menu, the quality has sunk lower and lower. The last mealI had (beef curry) tasted as if it had been made from 'cheap' meat and the rice tasted of absolutely nothing. Each meal has become progressively worse so I am moving on!

Not very good is all I can say.

I was looking forward to a meal of dumplings and red curry (both very simple meals) and instead, after more than an hour-and-a-half (the delivery couldn't 'find' my address the first time. TFL never occurred to him?) the delivery turned up.

I bit into a dumpling and was greeted by a pink/brown processed mush; something that you might by in the bargain bin at Iceland then.

The curry was worse. Malaysian curry with mushrooms and fried egg? Interesting ... but why was it a rich brown? Looked a little like gravy and tasted like it too! Very greasy and I could feel my heart shorting out with each bite of the sloppy beef.

I doubt it was Malaysian curry. A quick look of the menu tells me it could have been beef with mushrooms, or foo yung, or beef in a very, very processed black pepper sauce. Needless to say, very dissappointed.

Still, despite being late, the customer service was pretty good. Both on the phone and in person. Sadly the food is not up to scratch and that's what counts.

My advice would be to completely peel back the menu to ONLY things that the chefs are confident cooking. I'm sure there are some OK things on there, but the menu is just too expansive and he clearly doesn't know what he's doing. If you're not sure how to cook something properly (and you run a restaurant) DON'T COOK IT. Beef with egg, mushrooms and gravy is NOT a substitute for a Malay Curry. And don't include dumplings if they're prefrozen ... I could understand Dim Sims, but not Dumplings ... gross.

It's cheap, but still not worth it. Avoid, and look for a restaurant that puts a little more care into their food.

If this were a review for Ho Fun (dry fried rice sticks [like the illegitimate offspring of fried rice and chow Mein] it would have been 10/10. Thought the other dishes I have tried from them have been passable to good like most Chinese takeaways the consistency can vary but overall I've been very satisfied and they are a regular delivery option for me. And I must say they are the fastest delivery place around (this comes from a person well versed in the delivery options of Fulham and Hammersmith). I would however recommend sticking to conventional cantonese chinese food as this is what they seem to specialise most well in. I do agree the Dim Sum is lack lustre but in general Dim Sum by its nature usually requires eating in a good restaurant where it is cooked hence I think it a bit unfair to expect much (except for soggy pastry) from any delivery.
But anyway if its some Hofun you need at the speed of light then Imperial Dragon is the choice for you.

I couldn't find reviews for this takeaway but thought i would risk it. Mistake! Starters were crisy duck which was passable (hard to go wrong with deep fried duck!) and grilled pork dumplings. The dumplings had the oddest pastry that was almost rubbery. I ordered a 'safe' main - sweet and sour chicken (hong kong style) - revolting with very little chicken and a strange aftertaste. We also ordered pad thai - again, revolting is the only word i can use to describe it. I really advise not ordering from this restaurant - the food is extremely low quality.
