If you want an authentic experience with superb service, come here. The chicken pie almost made us weep. It was so generously full of tender meat in a simple,well-seasoned gravy and the short-crust pastry was perfectly crisp, neither too thick, nor too thin. It reminded me of the food my grandmother made when I was growing up. We also purchased chicken breast, lamb kebabs and pork chops, all of which have been tender, juicy and delicious. We only came here by chance while waiting to collect our car from the MOT centre. What an excellent find.
