Discovered this fabulous fishmongers just over a week ago & only disappointment is that I hadn’t found it sooner! I visited the shop to discuss a seafood platter idea I had for me to deliver to my mum in her 80th birthday the following weekend. The shop was clean, Covid safe & James was really friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. For the Saturday he put together a gorgeous bespoke platter as we discussed consisting of shellfish from my childhood Sunday teas....brown shrimps, dressed crab, cockles, eels etc all beautifully presented on scallop shells with delicious fresh samphire. Both my parents thoroughly enjoyed every last bit, commenting that the standard was outstanding .......& it took more than one meal sitting to finish! Thank you James for helping to make my mum’s 80th birthday in lockdown a memorable success❤️

Really good fishmongers are hard to find in London, North London there is a pretty good one on Essex Rd N1, south of the river there is Pawnbrokers, Addiscombe. A good variety of lovely fresh fish, very popular amongst locals but I know people travel from afar. Highly recommended.
