Really sad. Have suddenly heard that the very best shop, in fact the only real shop on the High Street is closing forever tonight. This was all very sudden, no notice on the door, nothing. One of the nice salesmen told me the reason was because the rates were so high and the landlord so greedy. No wonder we have so many empty shops here, or at the best horrible smelly 'charity' shops.

One-Stop is the very best shop in this area. Many of the shops think they are "too posh to wash", but here the staff are friendly and helpful and the shop is well stocked and above all clean and smells nice. Many of the shops here smell mouldy and have drainage problems. The food products are always within the safe to "sell by date" and are of good quality. Very unusual in this area of fancy "meals on wheels." Prices are very fair and they sometimes even undersell the large supermarkets. Open all hours and always ready to serve and be polite in a clean and friendly shop.
