This has always been a decent small supermarket, with a better than average range of wines, but has over the past year or two developed into something much better and more interesting than this might suggest. It now has a great range of fair trade goods, a useful amount of organics, and frequent, excellent half price offers e.g. on Covent Garden soups. Recent innovations have included pies and pasties, as well as English cheeses, from several smaller producers. Staff are pleasant and helpful.
