The staff are amazingly helpful and the products are very high quality.
Much cheaper than other food retailers, even those that pose as being cheap.
The layout of the store is a nightmare but since you can shop from 7am to 11am most days, you can avoid other shoppers.

I agree 100% with the post above. I had exactly the same experience (more than once), rude comments from the staff and I finally decided to pay a bit more for the courtesy in other supermarkets.

I shop regularly at North Finchley Aldi, and I would recommend that the staff have additional customer care training. It costs nothing to be pleasant and polite to customers, and an occasional smile would be welcome from the assistants who work the check out.
I understand that Aldi have a policy of checking out customers as quickly as possible, and minimising the delays at the check out- but surely the efficiency would be increased if they always had all three check outs working during busy periods. When I was struggling to take the correct money out of my purse today and causing a slight delay in the queue, I was told by the assistant , that I should have already had the money ready ( before the bill had been added ), and also she retorted rather sullenly that she is not been paid to wait for me. So much for valuing the customer.Lets campaign for old fashioned courtesy- or shop at the other local supermarkets ie Sainsburys or Waitrose.
