Gizel Kebab Bar

Having ordered some food tonight and not recieveing my order I tried to get my money back, at this point they hung up on me, so no food and no money. Be careful if you order food from here.

Gizel has been in Clapham since before me (over 15 years), and the guys who work in their now are the same ones who worked there when I first started going. This is a proper family business. I've never had a problem with the food and as long as you're not drunk or being rude, the staff are always friendly. Hope they continue going for another 15 years.

Iv been coming here for years and I would recommend this to everyone. I think most people come here after a night drinking but it honestly has one of the best, if not the best kebabs and chips in london. We have never had any problems with the food and the staff has always been welcoming and friendly (Im assuming they'll be less friendly if you're a raging drunk, but that's a given).

Two friends visited Gizel on Tuesay night, 5th Oct. They both had a 'meat' kebab and both had bad tummies within a couploe of hours. They have been very very ill for a week now and today they were diagnosed with Gastroenteritis. Avoid this place if you value your health!

The chips at gizel are second to none! I think they are twice fried which makes all the difference. Top notch kebabs.
