Oriental Chinese Food To Take Away

The takeaway I’ve just bought is probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten.
Staying in London for a few days and decided to get some food on impulse.
Alas nothing to recommend. What a shame.

The phone is ALWAYS engaged and when it does ring, it rings for a LONG time. Even with 2 phone lines their customer service is non existant. They alwyas close earlier than their stated time and i have been in the shop and seen them let the phones ring out. When i asked why, they said it was because they were busy! Food is nice but not that nice havingg to wait so i'd suggest going elsewhere.

Been going to the Oriental since the 1980s - family run, good food, generous portions, great prices - totally recommended. Only slight downer is the cooks still use plenty of good old-fashioned MSG (mono-sodium glutamate), so if you're allergic, ask! They can also cook without pork if you ask. They're always busy in the evenings, especially Thurs, Fri, Sat, so expect a long wait on the phone, even though they've got two lines - but much quicker to pop in and collect and have a chat. :-)

This Chinese is the ****, I don't order from no other Chinese, cause it really is that good :)

Absolutely LOVE this place. In fact I have literally just ordered from there a few minutes ago. You will never find another Chinese take away like it and I will never try!

I seen the above coment and was inclined to agree with this comment after relentlessly trying to get through Friday also.
Today when I contacted Oriental I was told that Friday is extremely busy and they do have more than one line. Also they were closed for 3wks which only happens once a year so... Every one deserves a break as I have just had mine for 6wks, and considering that my custom stems back from when my parents were in their mid thirties (and I am now 43), these guys work HARD! Keep up the good work

i think oriental needs to sort out their phones. this is because i called for two hours straight with no answer with my phone saying user busy. when i did get through the phone rang for 5 to 10 mins without anybody picking up. i love their food but this is not the first, second or third tyme its has happened to me and frankly its very bad. so bad that i had to go on the internet and find another place to order from. all i want to say is that if oriental don't change their ways then sooner or later they will start losing all their customers.
