Been using this takeaway for years ,food is lovely ,hot when delivered. Would prefer to get a takeaway from Aka
bar than go to a restaurant , never been disappointed .The staff are friendly ,and the wait is worth it, but weekends they are very busy ,so allow enough time if you are in a hurry.

We don't live close by (Tottenham), but have tried numerous Indian takeaways in our vicinity - some good, some OK and some not so good. This one however is definitely the best. If you are an experienced curry-eater, like we consider ourselves, then you won't be disappointed.

Akbar has been at the end of my road since I was a kid but I've only recently tried it. Appearance wise it's a bit shabby but never judge a book by it's cover!
Extremely cheap and more than decent Indian food - I strongly recommend trying one of the biryanis. The only bad thing I can think of is that the food can be a bit salty but this happens very rarely.
Service is lovely and you don't wait too long/it doesn't come within 5 minutes of ordering (I hate it when that happens!).
You must, must, must give Akbar a try. It's definitely worth the money!
