Wentys Tropical Foods

Wenty's is the only place where I can source hard to get Tropical fruits and provisions. Only ever had good service from him.

I have visited this business for many years on and off. They are the only business that I know this side of East London with a wide range of products that's difficult to get unless you travel to South London.

Unfortuneately, though I have found the telephone service at this business very poor. Just making an enquiry on the phone is like an ordeal. Before the conversation had even ended I heard a dialling tone! This is the second time this has happened but sadly, twice is enough.

Just ordered a large order (for 12 people) and on return to our work place half the order was missing.
Had to return (10 miles return) received an apology but no compensation for the trouble and expense with the double journey.

On return to the office still found that the order was still incomplete with several sides missing.

Really difficult to get through on the phone.

We work in corporate council building in Newham and we are extremely disappointed with the service.

So would not recommend this establishment.

Food on the whole is good but service was extremely poor.

Suggestion: A gesture of good will would have been apprieciated.
