Penge Food Centre

I attended this shop recently 30/11/2020 and accidentally dropped a chilly sauce bottle £79pence right before paying in-front of the cashier. Mind you I had another bottle and other shopping close to £20 pounds. When I told the female cashier she first ignored me as she was attending to the customer before me. After it was my turn she took the bottle of me and scanned the broken item expecting me to take it home?? When I said I cannot take this bottle home and explained there was some left on the floor she again ignored me. I went ahead and brought another bottle to the till and apologised. When I put it on the till she scanned the third bottle. Saying you broke it so take it. All this with other customers behind me mind you! I felt extremely embarrassed and walked off thanking her for her business. This is absolute poor customer service. I have been coming here for the last fifteen years however will not anymore. This lady really needs a course in customer service as she has lost this business a local loyal customer and will no doubt lose future ones due to her lack of professionalism and compassion. #willnotsupportislocalbusinessduetocashier!!

Very expensive and terrible customer service.

You can find everything you want in this shop. They are specialists in greek and turkish food. Also big variety in polish food. But the most important is fruits and vegetables selection. And everything is cheaper compare with Sainsbury's or M&S. Also it's better quality because they get everything fresh every day. In this shop you can find many special offers witch help to save on every day needs like juice, lots of fruits and veges, tinned food and etc.
Don't need to forget friendly staff. Cashiers not just polite they are really friendly. Sometimes you feel like you came to visit friends. Penge food centre is so different from other shops or superstores. It's really best place to shop.
