Highbury Barn Pharmacy

Highbury Barn pharmacy have always been very helpful, however I have been very upset by my recent treatment there. I urgently needed vital medication as I was being sent abroad on business last minute and would have run out of medication on which I am dependant whilst away. I had a last minute late afternoon DR appointment and rushed to put in my prescription. There was 20 mins until closing but the pharmacist refused to process my prescription despite me explaining my problem to her and the nature of my medication. She offered no alternatives or apologies. Go elsewhere where you are valued.

I used to work for this pharmacy developing medicines to people's homes. They're all very nice in there and there's a good atmosphere.

Highbury Barn Pharmacy is, I think, one of the best pharmacies in England. These are the reasons:
1. It has been in the forefront of trials to empower patients in monitoring various conditions: INR, blood sugar levels, blood pressure.
2. The pharmacists who work there are all very knowledgeable and helpful When they know you had a medical condition. They automatically check for interactions between medicines.
3. They will look up and answer any questions I have about medication.
4. Similarly the assistants in the pharmacy are also excellent. They all work at a team.
5. The pharmacists even responded to me and my request from a non UK hospital to send my medication. They did and using urgent post.
6. If you are housebound, they will arrange for a prescription to be picked up from the GP surgery and they will drop it to home.
7. They are the best of the best: a community pharmacy who support the local community
