I have had two haircuts at the Cutting Remarks salon with different stylists and both times I have been given an excellent cut. The price is half what I pay at the other place I go to and I can’t tell the difference between the quality of the cut. I think the salon is just as good! Also, the stylists really listened to my requests and it is a very friendly environment.

This is the first review for anything I have ever posted but felt I had to. I foolishly gave this place a try, they should take men's hair off the sign, I normally pay between £20 and £30 so the £23 is fairly reasonable although I would of been better off going to a £10 barber. I had to ask a couple of times to have more off here and there to even it up but after the 2nd time I realised she either didn't have the ability or couldn't be bothered. Either way I wont go back, my partner definitely wouldn't go there either after seeing my haircut!

As a first time visitor with short hair asking for a wash cut and blow dry, I was not told there were different rates for an ordinary stylist as opposed to a senior stylist. This should be mentioned on the phone when booking, as the increase is huge.
Having had, and paid for a senior stylist, the cut was not worth the £38 charged.

Hi Jane
There is no price difference between different levels of stylist, unless a trainee does your hair.
You can walk in any day and have a cut and blow dry for £28.95 or £24.50 on a Monday.
